A gorgeous natural swimming area surrounded by huge cypress trees.
If it's warm, it’s a must for swimming or just hanging out in nature.
Wimberley Square:
Full of boutiques, art galleries, and local restaurants.
Great for a relaxed afternoon of shopping, eating, and exploring.
Winery/Brewery Tours:
Wimberley and the surrounding Hill Country are full of great wineries and breweries.
Favorites nearby include Wimberley Valley Winery, Fall Creek Vineyards, and Middleton Brewing.
Jacob’s Well Natural Area:
A famous artesian spring and popular swimming hole. Even if you don’t swim, it's a beautiful spot to hike and take photos.
(Note: Swimming needs advance reservations, but hiking does not.)
Wimberley’s Boot Trail:
A public art project where giant boot sculptures are painted by local artists and scattered all over town.
Bent Tree Gallery:
A cool spot if you like artisan jewelry, pottery, and paintings.
Outdoor Adventures:
Kayaking, tubing, and hiking are all popular nearby, especially on the Blanco River.
